This plant growth chamber is designed to perform plant growth experiments inside the laboratory.
It is double walled, with the inner wall being made of stainless steel, and the outer being made of a thick sheet of mild steel that is duly powder coated.
The equipment is provided with a double door. The inner door is made up of a thick transparent full view glass and the outer door is double walled and is made of mild steel.
Humidity cum Enviromental Cabinet The whole unit is mounted on castor wheels.
It is supplied with two or three perforated trays.
It is provided with an exterior illumination for artificial day light.
The insulation between the inner and the outer walls is done with glass wool, so as to prevent any heat loss.
Temperatures ranging from 5°C to 50°C are controlled by a Dual Display Microprocessor PID Digital Temperature Indicator cum Controller.
Cyclic illumination conditions are regulated by a Microprocessor based Digital Timer.
The humidity range is up to 95% and is controlled by a Dual Display Microprocessor PID Digital Humidity Indicator cum Controller.
An air circulation fan is provided to maintain stability throughout.
An eco-friendly, CFC-free refrigerated unit is provided in the chamber.
The equipment is workable on 220 V AC 50 Hz single phase.
